Large animal size illusions
Bulk is not length. Tall is not long. Five large animals put that distinction to work.
Finding a little perspective…
Inside Big animal illusions
Select large mammals with different body plans and alternate height and length anchors.
Set aside weight and bulk
Rhinos, giraffes, bison, hippos and other large animals bring very different proportions to the same screen. A broad body can draw your attention away from the measured length, while a neck can dominate your memory of height. This collection asks you to judge the marked dimension rather than physical presence.
Use the full measurement note
Elephant and zebra references use shoulder height; other questions use overall height or stated animal lengths. Tail conventions matter for the predators. After a reveal, check how that reference was selected so you can distinguish a measurement mistake from an inaccurate estimate.
Learn the references, then try again
Every reveal explains the measurement and links to its source. These five pairs keep the same order when you replay, with a separate best score for this collection saved in your browser.
