WHY THESE FIVE?

Inside The everyday eye test

Alternate large-animal surprises with hand-size comparisons, using familiar anchors.

Switch between room scale and hand scale

This collection moves from doorways and animals to a phone and sports balls. Before each guess, picture the reference in a familiar setting: a door you walk through or an object you hold. Reset that mental picture when the next round changes scale.

A ball’s width is its diameter

Phone and doorway questions use height, while the balls use diameter: the straight distance across the center. Do not substitute the distance around a ball or the area of its circular silhouette. Animal questions use the stated height reference, including shoulder height for the elephant.

Learn the references, then try again

Every reveal explains the measurement and links to its source. These five pairs keep the same order when you replay, with a separate best score for this collection saved in your browser.
