WHY THESE FIVE?

Inside Rivers and coasts

Group aquatic or waterside animals by setting and compare stated linear measures.

Follow wildlife across the shoreline

Dolphins, a shark and lobster share this collection with a beaver, crocodile, hippo, buffalo and waterside birds. Their setting connects the questions, but their body shapes do not provide one common measuring rule. Treat each reference as a fresh starting point as the scene moves between water and land.

Keep the named dimension in view

Most references use a published animal length. The buffalo uses shoulder height, and the flamingo uses standing height. The lobster reference is body length rather than the carapace measurement used in some fishing rules. The reveal notes explain the convention behind each comparison.

Learn the references, then try again

Every reveal explains the measurement and links to its source. These five pairs keep the same order when you replay, with a separate best score for this collection saved in your browser.
